About Galveston Fishing Bible
Galveston Fishing Bible is a local fishing guide and trip-planning app for Galveston Bay, Clear Lake and nearby waters. I’m Mike Slevens. I’m based in Pearland, Texas, and I built this guide in 2026 because I wanted the information I kept looking for before a fishing trip in one place.

Why I built it
Planning a day on Galveston Bay meant piecing together charts, fishing reports, weather and ideas about what to catch. Galveston Fishing Bible brings those tools together for the waters I fish.
The guide focuses on Galveston Bay, Clear Lake, Trinity Bay, East Bay, West Bay, the Christmas Bay area and nearby offshore waters. It includes 476 mapped fishing locations, seasonal notes, condition tools and a place for members to share catches.
Where the information comes from
Charts use NOAA-based map imagery. Historical fishing and marina listings keep their source and verification notes. Fishing reports retain their dates and reported area; a bay-wide observation does not become a claim about a particular reef.
Conditions and experimental outlook ratings help with planning. They do not promise a catch or replace current marine navigation charts and your judgment on the water.
